LCS Grading provides sports card grading services through grading scanners located in participating local card shops ("LCS"). By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that your transaction is conducted between you and the local card shop where the grading scanner is located. LCS Grading acts solely as a service provider facilitating the grading process and is not responsible for the transaction, its terms, or any related disputes.

2. User Agreement

By submitting your sports cards for grading, you:

  1. Agree to the terms set forth by the local card shop where the grading scanner is located.

  2. Understand that LCS Grading provides grading services based on an AI-driven evaluation process and does not make guarantees about future market value or desirability of graded cards.

  3. Acknowledge that LCS Grading is not responsible for any loss, damage, or disputes related to the transaction or services provided by the local card shop.

3. Responsibility and Liability

  • Local Card Shop Responsibility: All payments, drop-offs, pickups, and related concerns are the responsibility of the local card shop. Any claims regarding the handling of your cards, payment issues, or disputes must be directed to the card shop where the grading scanner is located.

  • LCS Grading’s Limitation of Liability: LCS Grading is not liable for any damages, including but not limited to:

    • Loss or damage to your cards before or after they are graded.

    • Disputes arising from payment or service quality.

    • Errors or delays caused by the local card shop.

4. Grading Process

  1. AI Grading Technology: LCS Grading uses advanced AI technology to evaluate and assign grades to your sports cards. Grades are final and based on our proprietary standards.

  2. No Re-Evaluation: Once a card is graded, the grade cannot be disputed or re-evaluated unless authorized by LCS Grading under specific circumstances.

  3. Processing Time: Estimated grading times may vary. LCS Grading is not responsible for delays caused by the local card shop.

5. Fees and Payments

  1. Fees for grading services are determined by the local card shop and may vary by location.

  2. Payments are made directly to the local card shop, and LCS Grading does not collect payments on behalf of any card shop.

  3. Refunds, if applicable, are subject to the policies of the local card shop.

6. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  1. Verify the terms of service with the local card shop.

  2. Ensure your cards are adequately protected during submission.

  3. Retain all receipts and documentation related to the transaction.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the grading services must be resolved directly with the local card shop. LCS Grading is not a party to any disputes and does not mediate or resolve such matters.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

LCS Grading reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
